Naismith a fait de nombreuses apparitions à la télévision, notamment en tant que le juge Fulton dans "Amicalement Vôtre".
Laurence Naismith était un acteur britannique né le 14 décembre 1908 à Portsmouth, en Angleterre, et décédé le 5 juin 1992 à Woodland Hills, en Californie. Il a été formé à la Royal Academy of Dramatic Art et a commencé sa carrière au théâtre avant de se tourner vers le cinéma et la télévision. Naismith a joué dans de nombreux films et séries télévisées, notamment dans le rôle du Capitaine William Bligh dans le film Mutiny on the Bounty en 1962. Il a également joué dans des productions célèbres telles que Doctor Who, The Saint et Les Aventures de Robin des Bois. Naismith était également un membre du British Actors' Equity Association et de la Société des auteurs dramatiques. Il était marié à l'actrice Joan Greenwood et avait un fils, l'acteur et écrivain Simon Williams. Naismith a été enterré au cimetière de Hollywood Forever à Hollywood, en Californie.
