Où est Usher? Palmer un court métrage pour Apple Music

Tim Cook, self-claimed leader of Apple, isn’t the star in this short film – but fortunately, Apple managed to bring some big names for “Where’s Usher?” ahead of the pop icon’s Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The Search for Usher

After a lively night out in Vegas, where the Super Bowl LVIII takes place, Ludacris, Lil Jon, and Taraji P. Henson have misplaced Usher. Through a FaceTime call, they inform the Apple CEO about their situation and set off to find Usher. With the biggest performance of the year at stake, the trio and their newfound friends embark on a quest to find Usher.

A Star-Studded Journey

During their search, they encounter DJ Pee Wee (a.k.a. Anderson .Paak) and his bundles, the Blue Man Group, bounty hunter Leslie Snipes (played by Wesley Snipes), J. Balvin, the voice of André 3000, and a woman named Blanche who is nothing short of a national treasure.

Set to 14 of Usher’s hits, the short film is part of the buildup to the halftime show, where the “U Don’t Have to Call” singer will perform many of these hits during his 15-minute set.

Usher’s Vegas Residency and the Super Bowl

In an interview with EW, Usher shared his excitement for the performance, considering it as the 101st show of his recent Vegas residency. He sees it as a celebration, stating “I get to finally celebrate in the belief that I could come to Las Vegas and do something that was magical,” expressing his hope that it brings passion and excitement to the audience, whether they are long-time fans or encountering his music for the first time.

Super Bowl LVIII, featuring the San Francisco 49ers against the Kansas City Chiefs, will take place on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.

Published in a magazine, this short film is part of the promotional activities leading up to Usher’s performance at the Super Bowl LVIII.
