La fin de la série a-t-elle une scène post-générique ?

Loki Season 2 just ended: Here’s what to expect

Marvel Studios announced that Tom Hiddleston would be starring in his own TV series, following the time-traveling adventures of Thor and Avengers villain Loki, and almost as long since the first season began streaming on Disney+. After a long wait, the battle for the Sacred Timeline has come to a twist-filled, emotional conclusion with the long-awaited second season ending.

Seasons 1 and 2 of Loki were developed and created as kind of two chapters of the same book. Based on this the additional seasons of Loki are unlikely to happen. The Glorious Purpose, which is the title of the Season 2 finale, definitely ended a chapter and not an ellipsis, closing a long-running chapter of the MCU, but setting the stage for what’s to come.

Is there a post-credits scene?

Surprisingly, no. The Loki finale is only the third entry in the main MCU continuity to not include a teaser for future stories and the absence of an epilogue feels much more like a conscious creative decision than a missed opportunity. This final chapter in the Disney+ series closed the book on a long-running character played by Hiddleston since 2011.

What’s next for Loki?

Given the timeline-fraying multiverse story of Loki is key to setting up the future of the MCU, it stands to reason that Season 2 would end on a coda that functions as a viewer segue to the next chapter in the ongoing Marvel saga. By closing the chapter of Loki with a sense of finality, it hints at further developments in the MCU.
