Biography for Jeremy Clyde
The son of Lady Elizabeth Wellesley, he made his first public appearance as a pageboy at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom in 1953. During the 1960s, he was one half of the singing duo, Chad and Jeremy, who had little success in the UK but were an object of interest to American audiences.
Jeremy Clyde has enjoyed a long television career, and continues to appear regularly, usually playing upper-class characters.
In the 1960s, he formed a duo of singers "Chad and Jeremy". They were initially produced by John Barry then by Shel Talmy.
He appeared in Passion Flower Hotel ', a musical internship written in 1965 by John Barry and Trevor Peacock. The spectacle lasted 6 months to the prince of theater, London and was also interpreted by Karin Fernald, Michael Cashman, Jane Birkin, Francesca Annis, Pauline Collins, Nicky Henson and Bill Kenwright.
