Synopsis
Member of the Phoenix Foundation, MacGyver runs around the world to save it precisely.

MacGyver is an American television series which was broadcast between 1985 and 1992. The series follows the adventures of Angus MacGyver, a secret agent on behalf of the Environmental Protection Organization (EPA), which uses its skills in science And in engineering to solve complex problems and save lives. MacGyver is known for its ability to improvise ingenious solutions to dangerous situations using current objects and materials found on site.
The main character in the series, Angus MacGyver, is interpreted by Richard Dean Anderson. MacGyver is an expert in science and engineering, but he is also very talented in martial arts and strategy. He works for EPA, where he is responsible for solving complex problems and preventing criminals and terrorists from harming the environment and society.
MacGyver is accompanied in his adventures by a group of colleagues and loyal friends. Among them, we can quote Pete Thornton (interpreted by Dana Elcar), a former CIA agent who directs the EPA and who is MacGyver's mentor; Jack Dalton (interpreted by Bruce McGill), a friend and colleague from MacGyver, who is often involved in his missions; And Penny Parker (interpreted by Teri Hatcher), a former thief who became a friend of MacGyver, who often helps her in her missions.
During the series, MacGyver faces a variety of criminals and terrorists, each with his own motivations and his own evil plans. The series was mainly turned to Vancoucer, Canada, and suddenly, it has happened several times to see a mountainous landscape in episodes supposing to take place in Los Angeles
In the role of Penny we saw for the 1st time the actress Terry Hatcher, who will then play in "Lois and Clark" and who will become a love of "youth" of James Bond (Pierce Brosnan). She currently plays Susan Mayer in "Desperate Housewives"
