Biography for Phil Morris
As the son of Greg Morris, who for seven seasons played the expert in electronics Barney Collier in "Mission: Impossible", Phil Morris underwent a dilemma in the choice of pursuing or not a career as an actor.
In 1988, he was auditioned as the son of his father's character in the remake of "Mission: Impossible", and he will be part of the two seasons of "Mission: Impossible: 20 years after".
Phil Morris is an American actor known for his work in the Television Seinfeld series in the role of Jackie Chiles. He also appeared in other popular television series as a mission: impossible, Profiler, Melrose Place and the TV series of superheroes Smallville and Gotham.
Morris was born on April 27, 1959 in Iowa City, Iowa. He grew up in New York and studied at the University of Southern California, where he graduated from the scene. His acting career started in the early 1980s, with appearances in television series such as The Jeffersons and Hill Street Blues.
In 1991, Morris joined the cast of the Seinfeld series as Jackie Chiles, a bling-bling lawyer with affected ways. His performance was acclaimed by criticism and he became a recurring character in the series. Morris also appeared in several episodes of the TV series Mission: impossible in the 1990s, in the role of Grant Collar.
During her career, Morris also played in films such as The Skulls, The Little Vampire and the Batman Forever superhero film. In addition to his acting work, Morris is also a producer and screenwriter. He wrote and produced several episodes of the Smallville television series and co-wrote the scenario of the film The Oblongs.
In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Morris is also an active activist for homosexual rights. He is openly gay and spoke publicly about his experience as a LGBTQ person in the entertainment industry. He is married to her husband Steven, with whom he adopted two children.
