Rockmond Dunbar is an American actor born January 17, 1973 in Berkeley, California. He made his debut in the world of acting in the late 1990s and has since played in many films and television series.

Dunbar was introduced to the world of acting by one of its dramatic art teachers in high school. He then studied theater at the University of Southern California, where he graduated from the scene arts in 1995. After graduating, Dunbar began playing in plays in Los Angeles, especially In productions of the Ebony Repertory Theater theater troupe.

Dunbar made his debut on the screen in 1997 in the film "Souvenirs d'Enfer", in which he played the role of Bobby. He then played in several other films, notably "Never Die Alone" (2004), "already seen" (2006) and "The Last Stand" (2013). Dunbar has also played in many television series, notably "The O.C." (2003-2006), "Prison Break" (2005-2017) and "Bosch" (2014-2022).
