Biography for Will Lyman

Greatly under-used talented actor who grabbed a bit of popularity with two TV-series; in "Crossbow" (1986, french) and in the fine "Hull High" (1990) playing Mr. Deerborn in the directing of Kenny Ortega. He got role in two TV-films (the splendid "Three Sovereigns For Sarah" (1985), "Hostile Takeover" (1988)), and in a movie named "School Ties". Maybe the "Welcome to the Dollhouse" (1996) will cause the great break-through for the tall good-guy faced actor.

From 1987 to 1989, he played in the series "Guillaume Tell".

Currently, we can see him in "Matrix agency", he was also seen in "New York Distrct" and "New-York, criminal section".

Will Lyman is an American actor known for his role of the voiceover in the television series "Frontline" on PBS. He also played in films such as "The Thomas Crown Affair" and "The Negotiator", as well as in television series such as "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Blue Bloods". Lyman was born on September 26, 1945 in Boston, Massachusetts, and studied at the University of Yale. He was also a member of the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In addition to his acting career, Lyman is also a professional narrator and has recorded audio books for authors such as John Grisham and Tom Clancy. It is also very involved in philanthropic causes, in particular in terms of environmental protection and animal rights.
