Due South Dates : 1994 - 1998 SynopsisPolice agent Benton Fraser is a Canadian mounted police (R.C.M.P.), posted to the Canadian consulate in Chicago. He came the first time to Chicago to find his father's meutrier, working jointly with Detective Ray Vecchio from the Chicago police department to conduct this investigation. The action of bringing the Meutriers of his father to justice earned Fraser to be frowned upon by his superiors from the R.C.M.P (he had led the investigation against them), who posted him at Chicago for an indefinite period. Accompanied by his tamed wolf Diefenbaker, Fraser works unofficially with Ray Vecchio to find and resolve crimes when he does not serve as a porter for the Canadian Consulate. In the third season, Fraser is a partner of Detective Stanley Kowalski. A shock tandem (Due South) was an American police television series broadcast between 1994 and 1999. The series took place in Chicago and staged a detective from the Chicago police, Ray Vecchio, and his partner, a police officer Canadian mounted by the name of Fraser. Fraser was looking for his disappeared father for years and was assigned to Chicago to investigate the murder of his colleague. Ray and Fraser formed a shock tandem, conducting investigations on often complex crimes. Together, they had to face gangsters, criminals and criminals of all kinds.
