SynopsisPolice sergeant T.J. Hooker travels the streets of Los Angeles to clean them from the thugs that plague the city of angels. Divorced and father of two daughters, Chrissie and Cathy, Hooker has kept excellent relations with his ex-wife. He is also an instructor in a police academy and takes under his thumb of young police officers to whom he will learn the profession. Stacy Sheridan, the charming daughter of Captain Dennis Sheridan, the superior and friend of Hooker, is one of those young recruits. She will quickly abandon the telephone standard to track criminals with Hooker. Vince Romano, meanwhile, is Hooker's young teammate and barely leaves the Academy. Hooker was an American police television series which was broadcast between 1982 and 1986. It was produced by Aaron Spelling and featured William Shatner in the role of Sergeant Thomas Jefferson "T.J." Hooker. The series followed the adventures of Hooker and his partner, Sergeant Vince Romano (Adrian Zmed), while they patrolled the streets of Los Angeles as members of the city police. The character of Hooker was a former police officer of the drug brigade who had been promoted to the rank of sergeant and assigned to the street patrol after losing his partner in a shooting. Although Hooker was an experienced and competent officer, he was often impetuous and impulsive, which often earned him in trouble with his superiors. Romano, meanwhile, was a younger and quieter policeman who served as a counterweight for the impulsiveness of Hooker. During the series, Hooker and Romano faced a variety of criminals and criminals in white collar, while fighting to maintain order in the streets of Los Angeles. They were also helped by a group of police officers from the drug brigade, including Sergeant Stacy Sheridan (Heather Locklear) and Sergeant Rick Rossovich.
