Biography for Al Waxman
Canadian actor who had performed more than 1000 times in theater, radio and television. A prolific actor, he had played among others in "The King of Kensington", a Canadian CBC television production from 1975 to 1980 and in the American police series "Cagney and Lacey". He often worked in England, as an actor and director. In the past two years, it has been distributing "Twice in a Lifetime". He worked a lot at the Stratford festival, Ontario. He died in Toronto on January 17, 2001.
Al Waxman was a Canadian actor known for his role as C.C. Capers in the popular television series King of Kensington. Born in Toronto in 1935, Waxman began his acting career in the 1960s, and played in many theatrical, cinematographic and televised productions during his career.
In addition to his emblematic role in King of Kensington, Waxman also played in films such as The Silent Partner, The Wars and American Friends, as well as in television series such as Street Legal, Street Time and The Border. In addition to his acting work, Waxman was also a renowned director and television producer.
Apart from his acting career, Waxman was also known for his philanthropic and social commitment. He was a member of several charitable organizations and worked closely with numerous charities to help disadvantaged people and marginalized communities.
Unfortunately, Waxman died in January 2001 at the age of 65, leaving behind a remarkable heritage as an actor, director and social activist. His career was celebrated by many fans and colleagues, and he was recognized for his talent, his hard work and his commitment to others.
