Alan Ruck was born on July 1, 1956 in Cleveland in Ohio. Known for having interpreted the role of Cameron Frye in the series La Folle Day de Ferries Bueller (1986), he also stands out in the role of Captain John Harrimann in the film Star Trak: Generation in 1994. Alan Ruck is an American actor born July 1, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio. He is best known for his role as Cameron Frye in the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" (1986) by John Hughes, for which he was nominated for the MTV Movie Awards in the "Best Comic Performance" category. Ruck also played in other popular films such as "Speed" (1994) with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, and "Twister" (1996) with Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton.
In addition to his film career, Ruck also worked in the theater, especially in Shakespeare productions at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. He has also played in many television series, notably "Spin City" in the role of Stuart Bondek, a work colleague from Michael J. Fox, and "The Great Indoors" in the role of Roland.
Ruck has been married to actress Mireille Enos since 2008, and they have two children together. Apart from his acting career, Ruck is also a golf enthusiast and he participated in several golf tournaments for charity.
