Chris Noth of his real name Christopher David Noth is an American actor born November 13, 1954 in Madison Wisconsin

He began his career in 1982, with secondary roles in Smithereens and Waitress!. In 1986, he chained TV movies, including Killer in the Mirror, Apology or even at Mother's Request, without forgetting the mini series to both of us, Manhattan. He also obtained a role in the films The cop was almost perfect and Baby Boom, and made some appearances in Captain Furillo (1985), Another World (1988) and A Man Called Hawk (1989). He had to wait until 1990, before Dick Wolf offered him the first big role of his career: that of the detective Mike Logan, in the no less famous series New York District / New York Judicial Police. For five seasons, he brilliantly interpreted a young cop, a role that earned him to be acclaimed as the soul of the series. In 1995, his contract was not renewed to everyone's surprise, ending his adventure. Nevertheless, his character remained, at first in 1998, in Police against Police (a TV movie inspired by New York District).

During his New York District period, Chris Noth opens to other projects. In 1996, he played with Peter Macnicol in Abducted: A Father's Love. The following year, he replied to David Caruso in Cold Around the Heart. But it was from 1998 that business resumed seriously, with the role of Mr Big in Sex & The City, which he will hold until 2004. Having a recurring role in the new series by Julianna Margulies, The Good Wife, at the 2009 automme, he is also in the credits of Frame of Mind and becomes MR Big again, alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, in the second part of Sex and The City.
