Grant Goodeve is an American actor known for his role as David Bradford in the television series "Eight is Enough". He was born on July 6, 1952 in Middlebury, Connecticut, and grew up in Wilton. He studied at Yale University before continuing dramatic art studies at the Juilliard School in New York.
GOODEVE began his acting career in the early 1970s, playing in theatrical productions in New York and in the region. He made his cinema debut in 1976 in the film "All the President's Men". He also played in films such as "Bachelor Party" (1984), "The First Power" (1990) and "A Friend's Betrayal" (1996).
In 1977, Goodeve obtained his first recurring role on television in the series "Eight is Enough". He interpreted David Bradford, the eldest son of the Bradford family, who was made up of eight children. The series was a popular success and lasted five seasons. GOODEVE also played in television series such as "Dallas", "Love Boat", "Fantasy Island" and "The Love Boat: The Next Wave".
In addition to his acting career, Goodeve is also an accomplished singer. He recorded several albums and has toured as a country singer. He is also the songwriter of the song "Eight is Enough" who was used as the credits of the series.
GOODEVE is an active member of the association of film and television actors, and is also involved in charities. In 2002, he received the Humanitarian Award Prize from the Association for his work in charitable works.
