Jane Wyman of her real name Sarah Jane Mayfield was an American actress and director born on January 05, 1917 in Saint Joseph Missouri and died on September 10, 2007 in Palm Springs in California who began by being a singer on the radio, before starting a career at Cinema in 1932.
The Warner hired him in 1936, for which she turned several comedy and will meet Ronald Reagan, then a journalist and who later became the 40th President of the United States, they married in 1940 and divorced 8 years later.
She obtained the Oscar for best actress in 1949, for her role as deaf and silent victim of rape, in Johnny Belinda by Jean Negulesco.

She won the Oscar for best actress for her role in the film Johnny Belinda (1948), who told the story of a deaf, silent and blind woman who was raped and who gave birth to a child. Wyman was also nominated for an Oscar for his performances in the Angels in Sales figures (1943) and the longest day (1962).
In addition to her acting career, Wyman was also a popular singer during the 1940s. She released several albums and recorded songs for films such as the Angels with dirty figures and the girl with golden eyes ( 1941).
Wyman was also known for his marriage to actor Ronald Reagan, who lasted from 1940 to 1949. They had three children together, but their marriage finally ended due to personal differences.
