Set in Tuscany Valley, a fictional city outside of San Francisco, this serial centered on 2 separate rich wine families, Angela Channing, corruptive matriarch who headed the Falcon Crest winery and raised Julia & Emma, and Chase & Maggie Gioberti, who moved from New York to California with grown-up kids, Cole & Victoria, to start a new life with their family. Angela was obviously partnered with her irresponsible grandson, Lance Cumson, a young man who wanted money from his grandmother when he was too lazy to work for it. In turn, Angela also pressured him into marrying another schemer, Melissa Agretti, the heiress of her father's vineyards had less regards for others. Later, nobody could ever compete with Angela until one day, her bastardize son, Richard, had arrived from New York to San Francisco to work for his deceased father's newspaper company.
