John M Jackson was born on June 1, 1950 in Baton Rouge. John M Jackson was part of the American football team of his high school, he plays baseball and trains the Pony League as soon as he has time. Before being an actor, he worked on oil platforms and taught history and geography in a private high school in Austin in Texas. He then started playing at an amateur theater club. He filmed with Steven Seagal in the film The White Shadow but also with Tom Cruise, Demi Moore and Gene Hackman in the film The men of honors. He is known for his role as Admiral Chegwidden in the Jag TV series.
John M Jackson is an American actor known for his role as Admiral A.J. Chegwidden in the TV series Jag from 1995 to 2005. He was born on January 18, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee, and studied at the University of Tennessee before Continue dramatic art studies at the University of California, in Santa Barbara.
Jackson began his acting career in the late 1970s and played in many films and television series during his career. He notably played in films such as Independence Day, Volcano and Deep Impact, as well as in television series like NCIS, 24 and The West Wing.
In addition to his role in Jag, Jackson is also known to have doubled the character of Pluto in the animated series Hercules: The Animated Series. He was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for his role in Jag in 2001.
Jackson is married to actress Susan A. Jackson, with whom he has a son. Apart from his acting career, Jackson is also passionate about cycling and tennis.
