Jon Cypher is an American actor born January 20, 1929 in Berkeley, California. He began his acting career in the early 1950s and worked in many films, television series and theatrical productions during his career.
Cypher played in several films, notably in "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid" by Sam Peckinpah in 1973, in which he played the role of Pat Garrett. He also played in "The President's Analyst" by Theodore J. Flicker in 1967 and in "The Andromeda Strain" by Robert Wise in 1971.
Cypher has also played in many television series, including "Combat!" by Robert Pirosh in 1962, in "The Rockford Files" by Stephen J. Cannell in 1974 and in "The Trials of Rosie O'Neill" by Bruce Paltrow in 1991. He also played in several series of the scientific police, including "Quincy M.E." De Glen A.
