The consecration of the small screen arrived in 1996 with La Sentinelle, a series in which he played the main role of Jim Ellison, a police officer with hyper -developed senses. Four seasons later, Richard Burgi again continues the appearances in series like the underside of Veronica (2000), Providence and voila. In 2001, he accompanied the beginnings of the series which revolutionized the action on television, 24 hours flat, by participating in half the 1st season. After a stopover among experts (2002), he embodied a recurring character in Amy (2002), then collected in 2005 the mysterious Christina (Elisabeth Harnois) at Pleasant.
