Like many black actors of his generation, Roger E. Mosley was able to take advantage of the Blaxploitation of the early 1970s to get noticed. So we find him in many B series including The Mack with Richard Pryor. In 1977, he crossed Mohammed Ali on the set of The Greatest, the film on the life of the boxer.
