Biography for Zeljko Ivanek

Actor with American and Slovenian dual nationality, Zeljko Ivanek is mainly known for his supporting roles in American television series. He notably interpreted Governor James Devlin in Oz between 1997 and 2003 and Raymond "Ray" Fiske, a lawyer, in Damages since 2007.

He will also win the Emmy Award for best supporting role in a dramatic series for the latter, in 2008. Zeljko Ivanek also played in X-Files, 24 hours Chrono and Heroes among others.

In the cinema, he obtained roles in the films in the fire test (1996), Dancer in the Dark (2000), Hannibal (2001) or Die Hard 4: Return to Hell (2007).

Zeljko Ivanek is a Croatian-American actor known for his roles in films, television series and theater productions. Born on August 15, 1957 in Ljubljana in Slovenia, he immigrated to the United States with his family at the age of nine. Ivanek studied at the Northwestern University, where he graduated in political science before continuing actor studies at Juilliard School.
