SynopsisWe are in Springwood a charming little town not so peaceful as that. The ignoble Freddy Krueger born from the rape of Amanda Krueger a young nun enclosed in a psychic asylum is a seller of ice on the day that is murdered of children in the evening. Freddy will then be acquitted following a police blunder so the parents of the victims then decide to track him to his lair an abandoned boiler room where he kills children and burn him ... but unfortunately Freddey Kruegger becomes much more abominable than his beginnings... The nightmares of Freddy is a television series of American anthology which was broadcast between 1988 and 1990. The series was based on the characters of the horror films franchise in Nightmare on Elm Street, created by Wes Craven. Each episode featured a different nightmare that was experienced by the characters in the fictitious city of Elm Street. The main character in the series was Freddy Krueger, a serial killer disfigured with razor claws that haunted the nightmares of his victims. Freddy's nightmares were produced by New Line Television and broadcast on the American Fox TV network. The series was known for its dark and scary tone, as well as for its original stories which were not linked to the films of the franchise. The series has been acclaimed by criticism for its quality of production and its ability to arouse fear among viewers. Freddy's nightmares were created by the producers of the film franchise, Robert Shaye and Rachel Talalay, who also played an important role in the production of the series. The series included a diversified casting which included actors such as Robert Englund in the role of Freddy Krueger, and Lisa Wilcox in the role of Alice Johnson.
