Synopsis

The Szalinski family moves to Colorado. A new life begins for Wayne, an inventor of objects of all kinds who finds a job and Diane, his wife who is a lawyer, their two children, Nick and Amy and their dog, Quark. Wayne who creates her inventions for professional or personal needs often has problems when her inventions turn against his family and him.

Darling, I narrowed the kids (Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show) is an old American television series which was broadcast for the first time in 1997. The series was based on the 1989 film of the same name and Followed the adventures of the Szalinski family as they were trying to sail in a world where the children were shrinking.

The series featured the character of Wayne Szalinski, interpreted by Peter Scolari, who was a somewhat clumsy inventor. His wife Diane, played by Barbara Alyn Woods, was a occupied lawyer who was doing her best to keep order in the family. Their eldest son Nick, played by Thomas Dekker, was a teenager who liked to play with his father's inventions, while their eldest daughter Amy, played by Brooke Neumann, was a teenager who was trying to sail in the adolescence world. Their younger son, Adam, was played by Robert Oliveri and was the smallest and most turbulent of the family.

The series followed the adventures of the Szalinski family as they were trying to survive in a world where the children were shrinking. This often involved trips to the garden or other places where they had to face obstacles and dangers in the size of an insect. Although the series was mainly comical, it also tackled more serious themes such as family relationships, friendship and personal growth.

The series was broadcast for two seasons and was welcomed with a positive reception from criticism and the public. Although it has not been renewed for a third season, it is considered a classic for children's television from the 90s and continues to be broadcast worldwide.
