Synopsis
This series features Kenan and Kel, two teenagers from Chicago who are surely not the most serious in the world. In each episode, a problem occurs, most of the time not very important but which always becomes it after Kenan and Kel got involved. Kenan finds a plan, but it's still Kel who makes everything fall into the water.
Kenan & Kel is a comic American television series which was broadcast on Nickelodeon from 1996 to 2000. The series features Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell as two adolescents who live in Chicago and who have fun in comic situations.
Kenan is an awkward and unlucky teenager, but who is also very intelligent and creative. He works in a local supermarket, where he is often harassed by his boss, Mr. Schwinger. Kel, on the other hand, is an energetic and talkative teenager, who has a passion for food and who is often the target of Kenan's jokes.
Together, Kenan and Kel embark on wacky adventures that often take them into embarrassing situations. They are often accompanied by their friend Roger, a clumsy and unlucky boy, as well as their classmate, Christy, an intelligent and ambitious girl.
The series was very popular with young viewers and has won several prizes, including a daytime Emmy Award for children's program excellence. She also inspired a film, Good Burger, which was released in 1997.
