Modern Family
SynopsisShot in the form of a mockumentalization, Modern Family endeavors to show us with humor the different forms that the family can take these days. We follow the setbacks of the families of Jay Pritchett, his daughter Claire Dunphy, and his son Mitchell Pritchett. While Claire is the housewife of a traditional family, Jay is the head of a blended family, married to a woman much younger than him, while Mitchell and her boyfriend form a homoparental family, since they have just adopted a baby. Modern Family was an American television series broadcast between 2009 and 2020 on the ABC channel. The series was a family sitcom that followed the adventures of the Pritchett family, made up of three distinct branches: parents Jay and Gloria, with their son Manny; Parents Phil and Claire, with their children Haley, Alex and Luke; And Jay's sister, Mitchell and her companion Cameron, with their daughter adopted Lily. The series was known for its use of the camera on the shoulder and its colorful characters, and was greeted by criticism for its humor and its representation of the modern family. She has won several prizes, including five Primetime Emmy Awards for the best comic series. Photos |
