SynopsisThis series features the investigations of a couple of police officers tracking down sexual crimes in the most sordid circles of West Palm Beach in Florida The underside of Palm Beach (also known as Silk Stalkings) was an American police television series which was broadcast on CBS from 1991 to 1999. The series followed the detective surveys Chris Lorenzo and Rita Lee Lance, who worked for the police From the fictitious city of Palm Beach, Florida. The two detectives were investigating crimes related to the high society of Palm Beach, often involving rich and famous residents of the city. The series was known for its glamorous atmosphere and its complex intrigues, as well as for its explicit sex scenes and its more adult tone than most of the police series of the time. The main actors were Rob Estes and Mitzi Kapture, who both played their roles during the entire series. The underside of Palm Beach was widely praised by criticism and won numerous prizes, including two Primetime Emmy Awards for the best artistic direction and the best photographic direction. The series has also been nominated for many other prices, including a Golden Globe for the best dramatic television series.
