Synopsis

Ricky Statton lives with his father Edward and his mother -in -law Kate. Edward is a big multimillionaire child who transformed the family home into a giant game room. However, he takes his role as father seriously by not spoiling his son too much and not making the same mistakes as his father.

Kate is Edward's 2nd wife and Ricky's confidante and friend. With his happy family and some friends, among whom Alfonso, Ricky discovers the joys and pains of childhood and then adolescence.

Ricky or the beautiful life (Silver Spoons) was an American television series which was broadcast between 1982 and 1987. The series featured Ricky Schroder as Ricky Stratton, a rich young boy who leaves his luxurious manor to live with his father Strict, Edward Stratton III, in a more modest suburb. The series highlighted the complicated relationships between Ricky and his father, as well as the fun adventures that Ricky had with his friends. The series was acclaimed by criticism for its slight and humorous approach to serious subjects such as family, friendship and personal growth.
