She also played in television series such as "The X-Files" (1993-2002), "Pretty Little Liars" (2010-2017) and "The Haunting of Hill House" (2018-2020).
In addition to her acting career, Gish is also a producer. In 2000, she co-founded the film production company and television Gish Creative, with her sister Elizabeth Gish. She is also a member of the Association of actors in the American West.
Gish is married to Wade Allen, a television director and producer, since 2004. She has two children, Autumn and River. It is also an activist for social and environmental causes. In particular, she supported charitable organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the Environment Defense Fund.
