Biography for Corbin Bernsen
Corbin Bernsen's big break would appear to be his role on the soap opera, Ryan's Hope, on which he appeared for three years in the mid-1980s. He was propelled into stardom however when he was cast as one of the stars on the hit primetime Steven Bochco television series L.A. Law. He was one of the few actors to remain on the show from 1986 until the show's end in 1994. He also was a primary character in the feature film Major League and its sequels. Since 2004, he has played the recurring role of John Durant on General Hospital.
Corbin is involved with Public Media Works which is releasing their first feature film Carpool Guy on DVD in 2005.
Son of Jeanne Cooper, Star of the Savresse novels, Corbin Bernsen became known for her performance in the popular popular TV series L.A. Law which has earned him numerous nominations at Emmys and Golden Globes.
He began his career by holding small roles while he was still in college. In 1981, he settled in New York and earned his life by doing carpentry and modeling for a tobacco company before obtaining his first role in a TV series, Ryans Hope.

Bernsen has also played in many television series, including "Matlock", "Psych", "The West Wing" and "Castle". He also appeared in television series like "The Larry Sanders Show" and "Lois and Clark: the new adventures of Superman".
