Kyle Maclachlan is one of David Lynch's favorite actors who in 1984 offered him his first role in the science fiction film Dune. Their collaboration continues two years later with Blue Velvet (1986), a feature film which he shared the poster alongside Laura Dern and for which he refused to turn Platoon at the same time. It is always under the aegis of David Lynch that Kyle Maclachlan knows the consecration with his interpretation of the intrepid agent of the FBI Dale Cooper in Twin Peaks (1991) and the famous television series of the same name.
