Mariska Hargitay is an American actress born on January 23, 1964 in Santa Monica, California.

It is especially known for her role of inspector Olivia Benson in the New York Special Unit series, a competent woman who is still very close to the victims, the latter being accidentally born from the rape of her mother.

We discover it for the first time in the cinema in 1985 in the film Ghoulies.

Mariska was the victim of a road accident when she was three and a half years old. She will get out with a scar that she kept on the temple but the accident will unfortunately cause the death of her mother, the famous Jayne Mansfield.

Mariska Hargitay is an American actress known for her role as Lieutenant Olivia Benson in the television series "New York District Special Unit". She was born on January 23, 1964 in Santa Monica, California, and was the daughter of the famous actor Steve McQueen and actress Jayne Mansfield.

Hargitay grew up in Los Angeles and attended the University of South California, where she studied theater.
