Philip Michael Thomas (b. 1949 in Columbus, Ohio) is an American actor.
Thomas' most famous role is that of detective Ricardo Tubbs on hit 1980s TV series Miami Vice. Following this, Thomas appeared in numerous TV movies and in advertisements for telephone psychic services. He also supplied the voice for the character Lance Vance on the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

After a role in a series alongside Irene Cara, he won the role of Tubbs in the two -cops series in Miami, a role thanks to which he is appointed to the Gloden Globes. He has participated in many TV movies, and lent his voice to a Grand Theft Auto video game character: Vice City.
After his success in two cops in Miami, he tried to embark on the song, but after two albums with mediocre results, he abandoned.
